INFINITY Construction & Development is a full-service general contractor and construction management firm serving Delaware, Maryland, and the greater Mid-Atlantic. We deliver municipal, hospitality, multifamily, commercial, new construction, and renovation projects with a focus on disciplined planning, responsive leadership, and attention to detail.

Led by Robert M. Klipfel, Infinity brings more than 13 years of hands-on construction experience shaped by complex projects throughout Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the Eastern Shore. Our approach combines the systems and technical discipline of a larger commercial contractor with the responsiveness and accountability of an owner-led firm.

Founder & Owner | Robert M. Klipfel
Robert M. Klipfel is the Founder and Owner of INFINITY Construction & Development, bringing more than 13 years of commercial construction experience developed within some of the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia region’s most demanding construction environments.

Robert began his career with First Finish, Inc., gaining early experience in fast-track hospitality construction, and continued developing his renovation expertise with Digney York Associates. He later joined HITT Contracting Inc. in Falls Church, Virginia, where he further developed the technical, operational, and project-management discipline associated with one of the Washington region’s leading commercial general contractors.

His experience spans ground-up construction, complex occupied renovations, high-end hospitality, multifamily, commercial interiors, and mission-critical facilities. Representative projects include the 90,000-square-foot Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria, the Eaton Hotel in Washington, D.C., and the comprehensive renovation of the Hyatt Regency Reston, including more than 500 guestrooms and suites.

Robert’s technical experience also includes mission-critical data center projects in Ashburn, Virginia, and Berwick, Pennsylvania, further shaping his approach to meticulous planning, proactive coordination, schedule control, quality, and responsiveness.

Today, Robert brings that large-contractor experience and technical discipline to the Eastern Shore while offering clients direct access to the principal responsible for their project. Infinity combines sophisticated preconstruction, project controls, quality management, and problem-solving with the responsiveness and accountability of a hands-on local firm.
